We are a class 4 MOT testing station

AMK Gatwick owes its name to Martyn, Arthur, and Kathleen - a tribute to Martyn's parents. But the choice wasn't merely sentimental; Martyn's decision ensured that AMK would top the list in the Yellow Pages (before the days of google), a stroke of genius that set us apart from the competition from the outset.
From humble beginnings as a mechanics workshop operating out of a small bungalow and a few outhouses at Hawthorn Farm, AMK Gatwick has evolved into a trusted independent garage.
Justine's dedication and vision guided us through times of change, and her ongoing support continues to inspire us today.
As we mark our 50th anniversary, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of our journey - our loyal customers, dedicated staff, and supportive community. Your well-wishes and congratulations messages mean the world to us and serve as a testament to the enduring bonds we've forged over the years.
Looking ahead, we're excited to embark on the next chapter of our story under the stewardship of our current owner, Richard Tilly.

In the mid-1990s, the reins of AMK were passed to Justine Wells, Martyn's step-daughter. Under her leadership, the business flourished, embracing new technologies, vehicle changes and expanding its services while staying true to its core values.
With his leadership and the continued support of our AMK family, we're confident that the next 50 years will be filled with even more success, innovation, and lasting relationships.
