AMK Gatwick Ltd is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team.

Duties

Undertake vehicle repairs and servicing as instructed to the highest standard of workmanship.
Test and diagnose faults and then accurately report them to the service team.
Liaise with and assist technicians when necessary.
Ensure WIP’s deadlines are met or liaise with customers to advise new timeline.
Maintain work areas, tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition observing health and
safety procedures.
Excellent customer service essential.
Gain authorisation from customers to carry out additional work.
Undertake any training that would be beneficial to both business and
personal needs.

Person Requirements:

You will need to be an experienced, technician with a relevant formal qualification
Be able to work unsupervised in a well-equipped workshop as well as be a Team Player and assist colleagues as and when necessary.
Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to both colleagues and customers.
Customer focused, able to keep customers experience and safety in mind throughout the service or diagnosis and repair
A full UK drivers’ licence is required for this role.
